Tim Shiner

HEAD OF INNOVATION

Tim Shiner, has worked in the entertainment industry since attending Kent State University and Wright State University. From the legitimate theatre to film in Los Angeles, Mr. Shiner has risen in the corporate film world from Controller at Miracle Entertainment (a public company) and Head of Distribution at Miracle Films to following his film producer mentor, John Daly (Terminator, Platoon, Last Emperor) to FAME, Film and Music Entertainment, Inc. (a public company) where he was Director of Marketing and Operations. Producing several features as well as several behind-the-scenes films which included a short “Go Out and Make Your Film” (Gabriel Byrne, Vinnie Jones, Val Kilmer & Joanne Whalley) that ran at the Cannes Short Films Corner (garnering a Second Place win). “Moonpie” starring Michael McDonald and Stephnie Weir gained numerous recognitions including Official Selection at The Hollywood Film Festival and an Accolade Award.

Mr. Shiner’s project management skills had him oversee over 20 interns and 10 staff during an Academy Awards nomination campaign for one of Mr. Daly’s final films. Mr. Shiner secured numerous awards for John Daly's “The Aryan Couple” starring Martin Landau and Judy Parfitt while earning festival fees throughout the U.S. and abroad. He has also produced and directed an Official Selection for the Vampire Film Festival in New Orleans. Mr. Shiner has been consulting on various entertainment projects including a theatrical release for an independent film “Wheels” to projects at Mattel and Universal Theme Park. He was also a contributing writer to Moving Pictures Magazine as well as writing for several online film sources.

Technology has always been at the forefront for Mr. Shiner. Being a self professed gadget guy, he is thrilled that Virtual Reality has become easily accessible and affordable to the mainstream public; opening up whole new worlds where creatives can unleash their imagination without limits.

Mark is the numbers guy, As a senior qualified commercial finance professional with strong transformation, finance, project, commercial and operational expertise.

He brings best practice from a wide variety of sectors and disciplines, having 20 years’ global experience across different types of organisations from large PLC such as  Time Warner, Genting, Marriott and Codemasters, PE backed to owner

managed companies including over 15 years in the Digital & TMT Sector focusing on gaming, VR and E sports having own and ran studios and publishers around the world.

Extensive experience of working with senior stakeholders in fast moving dynamic organisations to deliver financial management, business critical change and board level strategic initiatives. Strong in cash and

working capital management, business analysis and improvement, cost reduction, fund-raising, M&A activity and strategic planning, forecasting and management

information. Vast experience in team leadership and management.

Known as “The Games Accountant” he brings games and digital expertise to the life with the financial modelling and controls

FOUNDER, CEO

Ms. Spring is an accomplished C- level executive in immersive media and gaming. Entrepreneur, gamer, lawyer, producer, she has moved the needle at every VR company she has worked with including facilitating deals with Intel, Oculus and Walmart with Spatialand which resulted in a successful acquisition. Ms. Spring has worked on award winning VR campaigns for Mini-Cooper and NYTVR, the award winning game Firebird: La Peri and other PC and VR games around the world. As a TV producer Ms. Spring has worked with Far Moor, (successfully acquired by Endemol), and William J. Macdonald, (Rome) as well as representing Sir Roger Moore, John Rhys-Davies and Christopher Judge. She's a former member of the board of BAFTALA, and practiced law in London.
